He probably does the opposite to what we want or what we least expect. Its good to keep the fans on their toes.

i feel compelled to vote for jaidi because of my username.
martin, never liked seabourne i dont know why lol jaidi is a great CB but doesnt have the legs
Just watched the full 90 minutes of the Barnsley game - twice - on Barnsley Player. Seabourne was immense. He's never been a favourite of mine, but he looked strong, confident, unbeatable and very, very capable. So on current form I'd have to say Dan S.
All the comments seem to be Martin vs Seaborne. Has everyone suddenly forgotten Jaidi? He's got an injury at the moment which is why he's not in the squad, but was imperious last season and played 35+ games in which I don't remember him making any mistakes. Everyone's issue with him seems to be his age, but you don't just suddenly become too old or past it over 3 months of summer. Obviously looking towards the future NA is doing the right thing in gradually nurturing Martin and to a lesser extent Seaborne into feeling comfortable playing at this level (especially before new CB presumably arrives), but if we were to have a fully fit squad for a big game I would certainly opt for a fit Jaidi, given that he was so integral last season.
On the subject of Martin the last thing I want to do is knock him, but all I will say is he's only made about 7 starts for us, having never played anywhere near this level before. He could well be as good as everyone seems to be convinced he is (someone mentioned him as a future England CB!) but the truth is I don't think anyone can truly know at this stage on the basis of such a lack of game time. He looked comfortable enough vs Leeds (excpet for pen (not his fault), and being dispossessed in 1st half), and I HOPE he does cement a place long term.
When he's fit it's Jaidi for me.
Agreed. I'm one of the 5 [so far].
Why Barnsley player ? if you dont mind me asking.
