Now we are down to two fit centre backs what are the options in relation to the loan market.

I feel we need to add bodies in Jan but would loan cover be enough and what are the options.

My first choice would be James Chester but I doubt West Brom would let him leave on loan.

Could we poach someone from Bolton if they fail to get paid next month. Wheater anyone?

Maybe Veljkovic from Spurs?

Not that I think we should go for him but I was thinking the other day, who was that black lad called up from the kids by LvG last season who was really, really ****e but still got called up for England? What happened to him - injured or something?
 
The current vice captain of Leeds would be a good shout, one of the few players who would be swung by the location of our club.
 
Looks like Ben Clappison is making a positive impact on FC Halifax Towns results of late. Can only be a good thing for the young centreback. Seems quite adept yo turning his hand at fallback and now central defensive midfield.

I wouldn't panic just yet unless there's another injury, go with what we have until Bruce and Dawson are back.
Speaking of defenders does anyone know how Lenighan is getting on? he seems to have disappeared.

Picked up a minor injury a couple of weeks ago, should be back soon. Was chatting to a City coach on Monday night. Didn't see BL himself but I presume he was there.
 
We can cover both Dawson and Bruce in the short term. However IF James Chester is made available in January we should move back in for him.
