A tricky time for SM.
With so many changes to the squad, he needs to get a base team and style.
Only then can he start his tinkering.
Tinkering on solid foundations is one thing.
Tinkering on sand is folly.

I agree that Sawyers needs to be rotated out, at least in the short term.
Colwill may be the answer, or, as you suggest sparkey, Sang.
As a front 4, O'D and Ojo/Philogene either side of Colwill/ Sang with Robinson up front would show attacking intent.

Looking forward to getting Adams into the mix in centre midfield.

By all accounts a fully fit Adams will take our midfield up another notch. I look forward to seeing him in action.

SM will have a plethora (not a word used often here) of options in midfield.

For the first time in a while we have a raft of options in most positions. Alnwick must be questioning his decision to join, Simpson looks a good aquisition and is struggling for game time.
Options out wide as well.
Still need the 9s to start firing though.

The break comes at a decent time.
With the exception of Collins we should have a fully fit squad when games resume.
A few more weeks on the training paddock wont harm either.
More bumps in the road to come but heading the right way.
Glass half full.

Just stretched out in the short gr
These last two posts have been almost poetic in style, remote!!! You been witting in the long grass again and contemplating the meaning of life? Or is the waiting for fresh lamb turned our mind to greater things?
Just stretched out in the short grass navel gazing and trying to work some steam out of the dogs.
Even though we've had plenty rain its not growing that fast.
Animals eating it as fast as it grows.
Lovely september day.
Mild, nice breeze and plenty of sun.
Might stir my stumps and tidy up the veg plot.
There again, might not.
On the lamb front, trying to work out how I get 8 butchered lambs in the car.

Messily!!!

I think he's on the wrong thread clingo.............<laugh>
Yeah, FfB led me astray and BfB made it worse.
The black collie is a good ball player to be fair.
Traps the ball well and has good close control with his nose.
The Brown collie covers a lot of ground with no end result.
The hell dog makes a good midfield destroyer but needs a player next to him.
More like the players we've got rid of rather than the current squad.
