Another brilliant Edrich passed on. My cricket memories begin with the amazing (Bill) Edrich and Denis Compton record breaking run totals summer for Middlesex in 1947. Not sure if Bill was John Edrich dad. What a family !! RIP John.
Just happened to be tonight watching an episode of "Billy Connolly's Great American Trail" on ITV. He happened to be in NY State interviewing 3 attendees of the original Woodstock gig. The location was Yasgur's Farm - which was later the subject of a Mountain track - "For Yasgur's Farm". It's actually my favourite track of theirs. With Leslie West's passing this week, there's only one of them still living - drummer Corky Laing. RIP Felix, Jack and Leslie...great memories.
