This fantastic news. No matter what happens on the pitch we will have a debt free
Club

Assume delias money is not classed as external debt??

no its internal. its interest free and there is no time limit on when it can be paid back. the agreement is that it will be paid back on the sale of the club but i wonder if that is now being re-thought...

Excellent news :) I agree with Carrabuh about getting the ground sorted it's a nightmare for super members like myself to get tickets nowadays with exception of when we played teams like Bolton and Blackburn apart from those home games the rest of my matches have been away.

It used to be quite upsetting hearing that we were losing money when playing games that was just the operating costs!

The stadium expansion is just a natural thing, it's a question of when, but it will be relatively soon.

i think ground expansion would follow at the end of next season IF we stay up. if we were to go down i reckon it'd be delayed. i know they are investigating the options at the moment and have devoted some funds towards planning so it is certainly in the pipeline <ok>

I remember McNally tweeting recently about they are starting research in to stadium expansion project.

thats right. they are also investigating doing something this summer but it would be tens of seats rather than thousands unfortunately. the big issue is the city stand - they'd need to knock it down and capacity be reduced all season to get what they want but can also extend the jarrold to three tiers - though the ground would look a bit mental! didn't stop newcastle of course...

What would you guys think of a new stadium out of the city. With all the housing and the riverside development, the land at Carrow Road must be worth a bomb. Just a thought.
