...here's a bit of advice.

Next time you have a football team in town, sending away fans past the pub that 1) we were told to avoid, and 2) was full of fans with banning orders - may not be the best ****ing idea, you know?

Also, instead of trying to arrest me and my mates, and in turn letting me and one of my mates get smashed with a bottle, how about you ****ing go and sort out the ****s throwing bricks and glass at our fans? Because, you know, you are supposed to maintain law and order, not cause chaos, you utter utter ****s.

What me and my mates really needed tonight was a visit to the local hospital to have some stitches...

Also, while I'm here, could you explain your logic behind forcing around 1000 City fans through 2 turnstiles at once? Did you want a ****ing crush?

Of course, you will get away with it, whereas us English will get the blame like we always do.

They really were silly ****s. We were mixing all day with no problems, it was ****ing brilliant in fact, then after the game they insist on herding us all up and marching us past this seemingly dangerous pub as if to say 'If you did want to chuck any glasses, here's all the away fans bunched up together.' They had ****ing water cannons and **** loads of people in full riot gear while nothing was happening but they did nothing when it kicked off due to their stupid actions.

Oh yeah, they were great pre-match, had loads of banter, but post match all hell broke loose.
 
My suggestion to City fans badly treated by the police whilst been attacked with bricks and bottles is to write a letter of complaint to your local MP and MEPs. Details should be given. The letter should request the government or European parliament demand an explanation for the police's behaviour and an apology.

The rest of us can write letters to MPs and MEPs in support of those attacked.
 
Bloody ridiculous. Not a sign of trouble pre-match until they turn up with police horses and a 'water cannon tank' to herd everyone out of the square. Then on the way out to gather us up and march us slowly up a narrow street to pass their local thug hangout... Genius. To make it worse they blocked off the side street opposite and wouldn't even let families get out that way when trying to protect frightened children with glass flying everywhere. At least the police were safe in their full riot gear.

pre-match : this is for the 'local police'
after- atch : the 'riot gear' cops are the 'federal' ones... no ties to the city at all, only there to grand general safety, but happy to 'get it off' at times
 
There were plenty of bottles thrown at us as we were penned outside 'their' pub by the police in a narrow street. The sad sight of people, young and old having to put up their hoods to stop glass injuries was appalling.

My take on the situation was the holding back of City supporters leaving the ground allowed the Lokeren thugs to get beer bottles ready for the forced march past their pub. In my view, an avoidable situation given that the majority of Lokeren fans were NOT involved and we could have all left the ground together thereby not providing an easy target for their idiots.

I'm beginning to wonder whether they've been trained by the same organisation as Humberside Plod
 
Now you'v mentioned our local plod, I bet the overtime rates will hit a whole time high next Thursday. The robocops will be out in force.

The trouble is, they'll be herding the away fans about when the trouble was **** all to do with them.

Well the 'local' ones were brilliant. They didn't treat us as an unwanted nuisance like the English forces do. Humberside and all the other English police forces could learn from the Lokeren police. Just not the mental federal ones!

Agreed our police force could learn a lot from their local ones, they were excellent all day.
