No, I meant that he said what he wanted to be true, not what he knows is actually true.

It was a stupid thing to do and he's been battered for it online, he's not good at this stuff.

I actually just think he wants to keep his job, which is fair enough. But he could've done that and not pissed off fans by not going on the radio in the first place. He didn't have to agree to an interview request.

He's club ambassador, maybe he did have to agree to do the interview and say the things he said.

I'd be stunned if the club forced him to go on. I'd be surprised if the interview request went via the club, Talksport know him and it's more than likely they went to him direct. However, all that notwithstanding it's really easy to answer such questions in a non-commital way as the current players have proved time and again.

Very poor of the club using the fans hero who i'm sure they can see is not the brightest button in the box as an ambassador for the club without protecting him from things like this. He is OK for being at the games geeing up the crowd, meet the ex player stuff as i'm sure he has some good stories to tell (just no Q+A) going to schools and the like. As for going to be interviewed about the club at a time like this, that is a job for the ? i can't remember the title but it was an all encompassing job of communication, marketing, PR. sales, manager or something.

From what we've seen so far, I'm not sure our Communications Manager has a phone, or access to a computer...

Only he doesn't think that, he knows perfectly well things are not right with the fans.

it's your opinion that he knows things are not sorted. He looks at the support in the kcom and forms an opinion that the fans are happy now.

One of the things people who used to protest now complain about is that **** all organized protest takes place. Bit late in the season to start.

He follows me on Twitter, so he knows full well what I think, along with many other fans, it's ridiculous to claim he might not know what's going on.
