norway he has gone because laudrup said he wont stand in his way but asked him to stay..he declined. Now with just 2 hours to go it is getting unlikely we will get anyone and that means that moore becomes the top striker of any worth..Im praying we get someone but im not going to hold my breath now and hope we will do ok with what we have got...If michu gets injured then we will have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.....swansea always leave it to the last minute...not good enough really...
Im just not concerned one bit by this Jan window thing and the sale of DG . Moore is not a goal scorer but given a run in the team can do well for us, he has made some important assists when playing this season. Itay ,while getting plenty of stick works the defense enough to create holes for Dyer,Routs and Michu. There is Michu himself to play up front so we have options. The new boy lamarr could be an option up front from what limited time ive seen of him. A striker would be great of course but i see this as a sign of strength not weakness. Laudrup seems very astute to me and the recent ploy of playing nathen up front tells a story, while he didnt do that well up front he runs defenders around and creates space, with pablo, michu, routs and JDG floating around and Ben Davies starting to thrive on the front foot we have scoring options all over the park.

"swansea always leave it to the last minute" ...along with virtually every other team, Dai. I'll be disappointed if we haven't had the foresight to line up a player. We've known for some time that Graham was on his way. This smacks of one of two things. Either Laudrup has faith in what we've got - I don't and neither do most Swans fans it seems - or mismanagement.
I dont think we have scoring options if michu gets injured and he is not going to score every game...It was plain to see we are lacking good fire power with danny and now he has gone we are in a much worse position if nothing happens in the next hour or so...we are desperate for a striker what ever anyone thinks...

SWANSEA City have made deadline-day enquiries for a clutch of forwards after selling Danny Graham – but it seems increasingly unlikely that Michael Laudrup will add a new face before the transfer deadline. Swansea have been looking for a loan signing to bolster their attacking options having allowed Graham to join Sunderland in a £5 million deal earlier today. It is understood Swansea have expressed an interest in Sevilla's Manu, Manchester City frontman John Guidetti and Jamie Mackie of Queens Park Rangers. Swansea have also been linked with Oscar Diaz, who plays for Spanish second tier side Lugo, and Senegalese international Moussa Konate. But as the clock ticks towards the 11pm deadline, it seems there is little sign of Swansea getting a deal done. There is an outside chance that Mackie could end up at the Liberty, but that may depend on whether Rangers land Peter Odemwingie. West Brom star Odemwingie has arrived at Loftus Road tonight despite the Baggies insisting that he has not been given permission to speak to the Hoops. Laudrup is thought to be an admirer of Manu, a player he worked with when he was in charge at Getafe. And Swansea are thought to have asked again about Guidetti having previously asked about the Swedish starlet. However, it seems City are unwilling to let the 20-year-old leave the Etihad despite interest from a number of clubs. As well as Graham, Gwion Edwards has left Swansea today, the young winger joining Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone on loan for the rest of the season.

Its only a rumour but John Hartson was seen out jogging tonight! Dont worry lads it will be be alright on the night, I would have liked to have got £6M for DG though not £5M
I would say laudrup is defiantly wanting a striker by the above but as typical swans they leave it to late to get anyone...poor management on that score...
to be honest we have known we need another striker even when Danny was here and even laudrup have said himself on his many columns in the EP so why we have left it this late is beyond belief because we are very short on fire power now as we will all see in the coming months....
Well for once I'm in agreement Dai. This has all the hallmarks of us panicking last minute and it's not good enough.
We've not done a liverpool here have we?? Oh dear, thank goodness we have _ _ _ _ _ _ ?..................
