It's not surprising that all we've signed is loans. Effectively any money we spend on a player now, will be doubled as it will add to our existing debt and due to the FFP sanctions coming in to effect, any debt we have over 10 million, we will be fined 100% of the debt next year. So if for instance we bought Rhodes for £10 million, that would add another 10 million in debt and thus we will have to pay that 10 million again in fines. At least that's how I understand it works if we're promoted.
So while I think we still would have coughed up the money for Rhodes if he was available, as Harry alluded to last week, I don't think we were willing to pay anything for anyone who wasn't worth the risk. So our business has been for people who should be able to do a job, but with little financial risk at the end of it.
