DONE DEAL
DONE DEAL
Brazilian striker Guilherme Dellatorre has joined QPR on loan. The 21-year-old frontman arrives having helped Atletico Paranaense to a third place finish in the Brazilian top-flight last season.

Dellatorre scored three goals and provided four assists in 19 appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A campaign, during a loan spell from his current club Desportivo Brazil - one of Brazil's top academy outfits.

Dunno if this will work, but it made me laugh

Dellatorre is a strange one, Redknapp described him today as "probably one for the future". So, why get him in on loan then, we need players to come in and play immediately. I can only assume it's a very cheap deal and is basically a 6 month trial?

Happy with Hughes, good, experienced, cover for right and centre-back.

Doyle, very happy with, I was disappointed we didn't try and get him in the summer. He has been poor for the past couple of years (but so have Wolves) but a change of club might be what he needs. It wasn't that long ago that the top clubs in the Premier League were being linked to him.

Would be very underwhelmed by Will Keane, he's 21 and yet to make the break-through, which suggests he's not good enough. Wigan only played him 4 times which says a lot.

And Eduardo??? Just can't see him being up for playing in the Championship.

Still think there might be one striker coming in under the radar.

Keane was on loan at Wigan for a month, not too many more games he could have played in

I see Fabio made a permanent move to Cardiff

So no marquee signings, unless there’s a last minute shock, but I think the business we have done so far makes a lot of sense. Charlie’s out for a long while it seems, but we currently have Zamora and Johnson fit, and they are plenty good enough at their best. If, or when, they are injured we have Dellatorre and Doyle (probably) as cover, with Hitchcock to be recalled if necessary. Hughes is an excellent signing as defensive cover and we have Donaldson as one for the future. If there are no more signings, this would do for me. Sensible and frugal business.

I thought it was a bit of a cross-over in the reports "Big news for QPR fans and a glitch in the Ince to Palace deal".

However, they haven't mentioned us since?

Can't see it, but Ince would be a great signing.
