It's not been a great window because of our predicament. Taken in isolation, with no regard to our league position and the fact that our porous defence remains completely unaltered it would be very good. The unfortunate reality is that we are where we are in the table, we are going to have to rely on Colo to have 15 good games, and have no injuries to our first choice back four for those 15 fixtures to even stand a chance of staying up... We are done.
Erm, it's only been a window at all BECAUSE of our predicament. If we'd been 9th we'd have spent fck all.
We'll never know. They said they'd be spending heavily over 3 windows to rebuild the team and that's 2 out of 3 they've done it now. It's possible they wouldn't have done the same business if we'd been safe, but we're not, so it is what it is.
Stop whining about defence, the reality is we need to score goals, we have lost more points because Mitrovic is ****ing incapable of hitting a barn never mind the door, goals win games not clean sheets, we need a bit of Cavalier Keegan rather than parking a bus across the pitch.
No defenders worries me a little. I mean, we have struggled going forward so yes that may have been addressed but to have no defenders coming in is very odd....

We'd have driven Gomis up and given him for free. You wouldn't have found a taxi in Swansea as they'd have been queuing to drive the useless lump up to you
Well with 5 mins to go to deadline it looks like 4 signings only, however, they look a class above some of what we have in our 1st team squad so hopefully we can kick on.
Hope Berahino keeps on sulking and watch WBA value of the player drop like a stone. Remy looks like staying at Chelsea getting spelks but thought we should have got a better LB in ( not Enrique FFS ). Lets see our full squad out at the Toon on Saturday.
