Yes, I am beginning the summer transfer window's talk on the 31st Jan. What of it?

At the time, hell yes. We got in 1 LB, 1 striker (on a free with a dodgy injury record), 2 wingers (1 injured, 1 Obertan) and in exchange chucked out just about everyone. Plus we got strung along on the striker front.

Our form does not fit how ****e that window was for us, not that I'm complaining.

In: Cabaye, Ba, Marveaux, Abeid, Obertan, Santon, Elliot
Out: Nolan, Tozer, Routledge, Enrique, Barton

That is by no stretch of the imagination a bad window. It's a shame that Marveaux got injured though, and that Obertan hasn't lived up to his potential yet.

If we are after him and Douglas then it wouldn't surprise me if Colo leaves, especially if we start our transfers early like we did last year.

That is by no stretch of the imagination a bad window. It's a shame that Marveaux got injured though, and that Obertan hasn't lived up to his potential yet.

On paper it was pretty poor. I had good hopes for Cabaye and thought Ba would do alright but not as good as Carroll had been in the first half of the season.

Genuinely thought Barton, Enrique and (though by far the least) Nolan were key to us moving up the table.


Glad I was proven wrong though!
