Good evening. We had a player a few seasons ago whose nickname was 'Dave'. Can someone remind me of his proper name. Someone has asked to the question and its annoying me that I can't remember!

Joffy, an explanation - The origin of "Joffy" in reference to Joe Gelhardt stems from his childhood love for the classic 1980s comedy film Coming to America. He used to watch the movie with his uncle, who had a nickname based on the character King Jaffe Joffer (played by James Earl Jones). The name rubbed off on Gelhardt and stuck with him throughout his football career.
Then there’s those who got upset because calling him Dave was insulting. As we should know and spell every difficult word correctly - but we can’t be arsed . It’s because we have a sense of humour and for some that’s missing completely
