The vast majority of City fans are very pleased with the job Pearson has done this season, particularly as they were done under difficult financial circumstances. There are a few detractors and a fair few more who just want to see us play more attacking football, for the fans that only go to home games, there's not been much to cheer about this season.

So who do you think will get the managers job? (I don't believe for a minute that it will be Bellamy)

I'm pretty sure it won't be Bellamy! I'd love him back as a player, and with a bit of luck it might just happen, but he has no coaching/management experience at all! A lot of people would like to see Martin O'Neil, which would be a great coup and a bit of an indication of how much our investors are willing spend on rebuilding the squad. However, I can't see that happening so I'd like to see somebody like Poyet or Di Matteo, bring some fresh ideas.

From an outsiders perspective, I think Pearson has done a fairly good job you guys considering the circumstances - will there be any money for him to strengthen in the summer? I'd imagine you are going to free up some wages by getting rid of a couple of big earners (Oli and Bullard spring to mind!).

We've been told to expect about seven signings over the summer, but the quality of those signings might well be affected by our ability to shift Bullard, Oli, McShane, Kilbane and Ghilas, as they're the five substantially overpaid players remaining from the last regime.

O'Neil would be a fantastic appointment, but I agree that you probably wont get him.

I also doubt Poyet would leave Brighton considering their recent success & move into a new stadium - they are not a small club.

Think Di Matteo is very likely, and a sound appointment after getting West Brom promoted.

What about Keegan? He has got Newcastle & Man City promoted from this level with big name players! I think he'd suit Cardiff as long as they are able to keep all their current players.

Di Matteo would be a very astute appointment 4 them IMO

I never really considered Keegan, could be interesting but I think I'd prefer we went for a younger manager. The main issue we have at the moment however, is that we don't really have any players! Our only strickers are Chopra (whose put on a bit of weight!) and Parkin (whose always been a lump!) and our midfield pretty much consists of Whittingham and McPhail and a few youngsters. Big rebuilding project for whoever comes in!

Hope u dont go down the route of Preston who kept coming so close 2 promotion but never quite made it!
