Couldn't find any updated versions so did it myself.

The attacking and defensive effectiveness are slightly different as in the original it was shots taken per goal scored but I only have the numbers for goals per shot.

In the defensive effectiveness graph, Sunderland and Sheff Utd are exactly the same which is why they are not on the graph.

To me, it looks like we've improved in every graph.

Agree, I think this backs the eye test that we are improving. And as Smug pointed out I thought we were good against Burnley. I think we have a real chance this year.

Love this kind of thing. A real forward thinking club Brentford.

It's class that. It's the smart way to do things.

A lot of people want us to be a traditional type of club who outspend "smaller" clubs. The problem with that is we have a ceiling as that type of club because we don't (and never will) generate as much money as other clubs.

We need to find creative ways that we can add value just like this.

And in a world of opinions, beliefs and absolute fiction that's a fact.

Any supporters who keep screaming that we spend more money should be told, under torture if necessary, that we don't have any money.

The directors subsidise the club to the least they can get away with but it's still millions of pounds.

Brentford don't sell mounds of merchandising in Africa so have to find other ways to make the club sustainable ...

... exactly what we need to do.

Multi-millionaire business men aren't fighting for executive packages and we don't have Chinese tourists snapping up any available tickets.

In my opinion KLD represents the best opportunity this club has had in living memory ...

... people who wanted him out of this club need to seriously step back, shake their heads then shake it again.

In my opinion btw, just in case ....

Brentford and Brighton strike me as clubs trying to maximise what they've got and do something a bit less traditional so I'm genuinely not surprised to see Brentford spend money on research.
I might be being cynical but there was a Times report on how much R&D tax relief clubs have claimed this week. Apparently to be valid the R&D needs to have a significant greater good element. HMRC are looking into the veracity of some of the claims apparently. Could be a coincidence that news of this great work, at a cost of £16M is coming out now of course and I have no idea what they have claimed for if at all!
Think I read one of the Dundee clubs had claimed over £1m. You'd have thought the sporting breakthroughs, and progress in human knowledge in these popular areas, would have been a bit more obvious and promoted given the ascribed massive value across the industry . . .

Interesting at the likes of Cardiff and Luton who obviously defend well, but get punished because of the attacking end potentially ?
Yeah something like that. They don't allow teams much but when the chances they do concede are huge opportunities.

mundle falls directly below Roberts on the graph as per the guy in the comments. Mundle Mayenda and Roberts in the good places
Mayenda needs to be playing the majority of games from now on. I don't mind if it's as a lone striker, as a 2 or on the right wing. Needs to be on the field.

Mayenda is just ****ing magic.
I'm a massive Isidor fanboy but last night sealed it for me, Mayenda offers more as the striker in our setup (at least right now). The improvement he has had is unreal. I was very impressed with his back-to-goal ability recently, seems very strong for a young lad, he can take the ball, turn and drive up the pitch and create chances or score them. I'd opt with Mayenda as the CF from here on out myself.
