Don't know wether this has been picked up on already, But David Burns has just tweeted :

Can anybody confirm that Darren Robinson has got a new improved job at City? Staff have been informed but I'm unsure of details. #hcafc
.

Maybe That has an impact on/because of the new manager situation, Did Robinson work with Davies at Forest?

Or maybe he is the new manager!

No surprise, he is very close to Ehab and has been very influential in a lot of what has been happening at the club recently.

While, like everyone else, I have no real information on this, it sounds like another move in the Billy Davies direction if true.

on the plus side, if things are moving in the billy davies direction, he is no 'yes-man', unlike some that have been murmured.

I did hear a rumour that he was to be the Director of Football- but that seems to contradict that Allams statement a few weeks ago when they said sir Adam would not be replaced as the role was not required going forward.

Some weeks ago, indeed right at the start of all this, I posted up that DR may have more to do with this than meets the eye. I may be jumping the gun here but not only is he a friend of Ehab's - and I don't blame Ehab if he trusts him - but I hear that from his time in RL he wasn't slow to put the boot/knife in, in order to get up the greasy pole. I wonder if he has been the sole person advising about a new manager?

I hear he's now in charge of all fitness/performance issues so will be overlooking the likes of Sean rush and Liam mcgarry etc, guess you'll see him more at match days from now on, let's hope he's as good as his own website says he is

it ll fill a headline in tomorrow's paper and 'Umbersard will have summat to report i suppose.....yawn!!!!! if City are successful, will any of us really care?

is he contracted as an employee or is he another consultant with a contract drip-bleeding the club?

It seems strange to make a change before a manager is in place.

Unless they already know who the manager is already.

I think this definitely points towards Billy Davies, who, it has to be said, is the stand-out candidate of those we have been linked with.

Guess I'll have to get used to arrogant, opinionated, gobshyte, incomprehensible, midget swetties being in charge of HCFC!!

I note on his website he's taken full credit for Derby beating WBA in a play off final. And Forest's longest unbeaten run. Must be good.

Also, in the acknowledgements, there isn't really anything, but there are some newspapers mentioned where they've said his name. So it must be true.

Reckon he's on the fast-track to management one day.

The Allams did say that they would negotiate transfers so getting a director of football would contradict that. He's far more likely to be taking over the fitness/performance side especially now Sean Rush is rumoured to have been released. Good thing is that it will let the new gaffer, whoever it is, bring in an entire backroom staff without us having to pay off the existing staff.
