It may well depend on who the next striker is ? Give Graham the no.18 shirt for obvious reasons.

Figueroa is the obvious replacement to Dawsons No.3 shirt and i would expect Curtis Davies to get No.6 from Hobbs and Meyler the no.4 shirt or maybe leave it for the likes of Palacios maybe ?

Bruce has been wearing the number 4 sports bra thing. Everyone else has their numbers e.g Fryatt #12 so it would suggest that Bruce is number 4.

Hope he isn't. Then again father gives his number to son. Now that is nepotism.

No.4 should be for the squads hard case imo.

I am still amazed people are still thinking Nick will cut it.What clue is there that he will suddenly be dominating the likes of Terry nd Ferdinand when he could not do it in the champ. Are we really saying we should try 3rd division players in the Prem cos we they might come good?If this is the case I think we can save a few bob and by some lads from the lower leagues.
I am genuinely interested to hear a reasoned argument as to why anyone thinks the Prem will be the place where it comes good for Nick.I hope he does come good and I have this quote thrown back at me

I think mainly because of a random quote by SB at some point that keeps getting brought up, apparently he said that he was one for the future & it would take him at least a season to settle at the KC.

Think its also that it takes many foreign players a season to settle down

Know how many goals Cantona scored in his first season in English football? That's right, 3, the same as Proschwitz.

Clearly he will end up being considered one of the greatest strikers of all-time.

Proschwitz? Because he looks very tidy with the ball at his feet, great touch and control and a wicked shot, but he looks physically well off it, gets bullied around a lot and doesn't get given the open space he seems to expect and slightly mentally as he seems to rush everything and doesn't look calm.

He might make it he might not. I think it's more in his head which is why he hasn't worked so far, maybe scared of getting hurt, snatching at things, not going into challenges full blooded whether they're hard or not. But those sorts of things seem to just click one day out of nowhere and you just get over it all.

Cracking bit of business this IMO , if he can repeat his form from 2 seasons ago on a loan deal .. I don't think we could ask for much better

Obviously everyone wants prozzy to do well. Thing is we've all banged on about how desperate we are for a CF, why? He's not first choice is he. He may come off the bench but I'd rather bring fryatt on, if we're keeping him?

I would expect Prozzy to look much stronger and bulked up at the end of pre-season. Building muscle should be one of his main goals in training.

I think a lot of the time in cases like prozzy , people keep saying he will come good , so if on the off chance one bobbles in off his arse against man united , they can repost these old comments and take a moment of glory that they never lost faith , etc etc ... When all the evidence just points to the fact he was out his depth last year and will be even more so this unfortunately ... Would also love to be proved wrong , it did happen once ..
