Just watched Rooney miss a "sitter" on MOTD, presumably Fergie will be looking for a better striker for next year...

to be fair... I believe another striker is required but know nowt abot this Ivorian .... sounds a bit like a forgotten established Prem striker like Kenwyn Jones (oh to be seriously contemplating these type of players now .... can you believe it!!)

Those tap ins can look easy, but they are not, ask any player that's miss timed the tap in, or rocketed it over the bar!...............

you only have to watch danny he will demonstrate how to miss easy tap ins...<laugh> he has missed so many iv lost count.......best move him and let someone else play there who can finish on a regular basis.....<ok> at least the one that counts is not blind....our manager...<laugh>

you need to jog on by the look that you dont want to listen to the facts.

ok it was not a tap in but it is goals like that that he should be burying all day long and he has not been doing it...<ok>

Any criticism of DG is Bollox. That guy has single handedly run the front line for us. With out all his hard work and his 12 goals we wouldnt be where we are now. I think he has had a fantastic first season in the PL.

It seems someone is wageing a one man war against him and like has been said by most is making himself look silly. But then people seem to have to find someone to be a scapegoat all the time. Will no doubt move on to some other player next season.

"ok it was not a tap in"

    Wow. A first.

Dai admits he was wrong and I'm calling the Post. I can see it now: "Swans Fan in Shock Admission"

Just finished reading Guardian on line, and reproduce the following, without permission.

"For the most part Carroll charged around like a big red fire engine unable to locate the fire".

    "Graham,12 goals in 36 matches".

    "Carroll,4 goals in 35 matches"

I have previously referred to the insanity of the transfer fees paid in The P.L.,and the fact that Liverpool apparently paid TEN times more for Carroll than Swansea did for Graham, somewhat confirms my opinion.

Really good to see that Dai has amended his "tap in " comment, regarding Grahams goal against Liverpool yesterday.

I've asked repeatedly (and rhetorically) on this thread whether people genuinely believe Carroll is 10 times better than Graham. It's nonsense.

I think Carroll is a decent player who is more physical than Danny and is better in the air but the stats don't lie and DG has a better eye for goal. Even if he is better, ten times? I think not.

I think that now Danny has found his feet he'll do even better next season - as a striker and not in midfield, Dai! <doh>
