Well it will be interesting if they offer him a second chance. I guess should be up to the first team whether they are willing to aswell.

It would certainly suit us from a footballing perspective as we so desperately need a striker, but no, I don't think it suits either him or the other players on a psychological level.

If he comes back and makes an effort I'm sure they'll get over it. If there is more to it than just the fight (as I suspect there probably is), then I doubt he will be back.

I don't think he's even remotely interested in doing so. I may be entirely wrong, but that's the impression I've got/made/invented!

I don't think that there's such a thing as a heart-to-heart capable of causing a person to stop being a hot-headed idiot. Even if people put this latest thing behind them, I find it hard to believe that it will be the last time Dani loses his temper and/or mind.

There are techniques to learn to think before acting...anger management....but you have to want to. I'm not convinced Dani would feel he had to do it. I think his problem is having a hot temper combined with an overweaning sense of his own rightness.

Just dont think he fits in.

It in a nutshell really. The players all say how close they are...probably don't want this harmony disturbed. However, a player (Cork?) said he had no problem with Dani, so perhaps it's a few of the senior players who didn't like his attitude...that could have been what lead up to the headbutt incident. I can imagine trouble when a new kid on the block dares to challenge the status quo where a few players consider themselves top dogs. Sometimes an irritant in an oyster produces a pearl...but perhaps not in Dani's case.
