Oh of course, our very own Jason Puncheon. Played in the league for us, Millwall and Blackpool last season.

I'm not sure if this rule still remains. I say that because I'm certain that I've come across one or two players this season who have played for three different clubs this season. I'm trying to rack my brains for who I'm thinking of, but no-one's coming to mind.

It may be that I'm slightly wrong, and who I'm thinking of hasn't actually played a league game for all three (for example, I'm pretty sure that Andros Townsend and Adam Smith both have not featured in the league with Spurs). I'll keep on thinking...

You are kind of correct, the two clubs in a season thing is oft-quoted but doesn't always apply, there was that story about the lad who played for all three Notts clubs in successive weeks - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16593878. I don't remember the exact wording but basically short term loans don't count.

this was posted on the u21 thread. seems opinion says that it is better the devil you know- rather than trying an untried youngster, although for me this is the perfect time for shaw with fox out- come on, can he be worse than harding in defence and at least he is a threat going forward

'with the bad form of harding, both at left back and as cover at right back, is it not now time to use youth players as backup. Richardson and Fox have no backup (butters always injured) yesterdays game showed we have young and stephens on the right side, with o'sullivan and shaw on the left. surely they should be blooded now rather than playing others out of position'

JOS HOOVIELD was at fault for the goal, he could have easily either put the ball into touch or shown Scotland to the line, but he let him cut back inside him and what was worse, then backed off him.

Was not Harding's fault at all.

So all you moaners can sleep well now or start a hate campaign against Hoovield. Whatever makes you happy.

Thank you, that is what I thought at the time, but wanted to see the replay before having my say, as I saw it Hooiveld was the player dealing with the situation and was following the pre-planned method of sheperding Scotland for Spider to make the tackle and clear, unfortunately Spider slipped at the vital moment, leaving a gap for the shot, then came the deflection which left KD flat footed and the rest is history, Harding wasn't implicated at all, unless you think he had not back quickly enough from an attacking move down the left wing.

Just seen the extended highlights and cant see what everyones problem with Harding was? He put in two excellent through balls for scoring oppertunities and the goal was not his fault at all. He deserved his yellow card but thats all i can see from the highlights...

Hear Hear! He just seems to be the boo boy right now

As I have said before, we have a number of posters suffering from OCD about certain players for a number of reasons. Not all rational but some justified, and a teensy weensy bit of race discrimination but fortunately that is minimal.

Was thinking about this last night, and Harding has been in and out the side more than the hokey cokey so can't get a consistent run of games and coupled with a fair few knee injuries hasn't been as good as last year

Remember at the start of the season when Harding got an actual run in the side he played well? I think now he is set to get a good run in the side, and if we support him like we should, he will improve and do alright!

Dickson was in and out of the side last, not really getting the oportunity of a decent run of games. But you didn't bring that up last season, when you happily dismissed him.

And I find it amusing reading your preaching about supporting Harding, when I'm sure you're one of the Guly haters out there. Stones and glass houses.

Maybe its called maturing? I'm not a Guly hater, I'm a fan of Guly seriously. Its called maturing, and stop being so immature when your fav's aren't playing - I'm better than that

You learn from your mistakes Brendy

Care to publish an information manual on how to support a team properly? Could help those of us not following your guidelines.

I, personally, can't wait for Fox to get back. Oh **** string me up!

Where did I say how to support a team? All I said was we should be Supporting Harding. Read it properly

You have basically hit the nail on the head, the problem is his lack of a consistent run in the side, Fox has his merits and is undoubtedly overall the better player, but he doesn't have the same rapport with Lala that Dan H has, and if Foxy is crocked for a while we may see the best of Dan H, give him a chance, if it doesn't work out, you can say "I told you so" have a smug feeling that the negativity was worth it.
