Think we'll be willing to let him go if a good bid came in as seelt will be the next one to come through.
He is a very good player but it's why we bring in young lads, buy low sell highI hope not. Ballard is a bloody good player. Maybe Seelt could fill his shoes, but I can't say I'm optimistic about that.
I'd only sell Ballard if 2 things are done:I hope not. Ballard is a bloody good player. Maybe Seelt could fill his shoes, but I can't say I'm optimistic about that.
It’s a long way from the days of refusing to sell Kone to Everton. We didn’t have anyone at the club to step up to replace him or trust ourselves to spend the money on a better/equivalent player.I'd only sell Ballard if 2 things are done:
- the price is right (I'd be looking for 12 million with add ons)
- we sign Mepham on a perm deal
I'm a big fan of ballard but Mepham is an upgrade so if we were to replace Ballard with Mepham and still have money left over that would be cracking business.
I'd rather he stayed till the end of the season tho as he will have a big part to play
Wey then, cough up the millions it’ll take to land him, WolvesWolves alleged to be interested.

Hard to say how much. I reckon probably in the 8-12 million range but could add a British and premier league premium.Wey then, cough up the millions it’ll take to land him, Wolves![]()
Shame he’s out for a little period again. He’s missed quite a bit of football since signing here
74 league games played in 2 and a half seasons here. That’s about 40 missedHe has. Always seems to pick up knocks.
He’s very physical so always likely to get a few contact injuries. He has. Always seems to pick up knocks.
