I like this lad
He has a bit of arrogance about him but by the looks of it can back it up on the pitch If we have him and Broadhead coming off the bench their pace will terrify defenders
Think he could be a big player for us as the season goes on

Id like to see him start more games then he does being a Sub, i think we'd be wasting him otherwise.
I hope he replaces Gooch in the pecking order because he looks a class above in my opinion.

I think it’s been a deliberate plan to bring him in slowly. He wasn’t up to speed and first couple of run outs looked a bit over eager
But tend to agree last couple of game hes played he seems to have caught up quickly
I think as the season goes on he may well become a regular

Going forward he is streets ahead of Gooch. But not sure he backs up his full back the same. Not that I’m saying he should, but I think we’ve missed gooch’s work.
I think Gooch is underrated by most to be honest as nobody seems to see the work he does without the ball. The backing up he gives his full back when they get forward etc.

Yes good point mate. Im not totally against Gooch, i had high hopes for him a few years ago but he just hasnt progressed to the level i thought he would. I find him very frustrating because he looks a top drawer player one game (Wigan at home springs to mind), and then he's bang average the next 2 after that. He gets himself in great positions sometimes but then fails to deliver.
We havent seen much of Dajaku yet, but his goal the other night and the one against Cheltenham has already convinced me he has much better end product than Gooch has and his pace and skill will scare the hell out of Fullbacks playing at this level.

I just like the lads swagger. He obviously believes in himself and so far has backed it up with a few good performances. He's going to have blips like any young player, but so far, so good. I'll hold judgement until we see if he can grab a regular starting spot.

Said it on the match thread the other night, love the lad.

He can play, his attitude and character seems class, and he’s proper bought into the club. He’s on every insta post even remotely linked to the club.

He will be starting games soon, he’s raw but he is a headache for defenders.

Agree with the unseen leg work Marcus, I'd also put AoB in the same category, he pulled Crewes defence all over on Tuesday, if he could add regular goals to his game then he wouldn't playing L1.

Dajaku talking about the fans at Crewe game.<cool>

"I couldn’t really believe it. Before the game, I was looking at the whole of the stand and asking the rest of the players, 'Are they all the fans from us?' There were so many fans for us, and it's great, we need that support. It's great for us to have that, and we have to say thanks to our fans because they came a long way.”

Full Interview.

He just looks an exciting player. You get the feeling that when he gets on the ball something might happen.

he’ll scare opposition defenders with his pace and I think he’ll get better as the season goes. He’s an excellent option coming on late in the game against tired defenders.

think he’ll have a cracking season

Isn't it strange having footballers wanting to play football
