14.50 Bangor- Bourne 13/2

Won 1st time out with Blinkers on that was off a mark of 132 beating the likes of Dildar and Ivors King. Is running off a mark of 125 which is massivley lower than that winning mark and altho he has not been back at his best last few runs- running off this mark and the head gear back on at this price- he is way overpriced

Bent ****ers they are with that horse Woolly, but it is due to go in again <laugh>

An hour earlier, in the Anne Duchess Of Westminster Memorial Handicap Chase (is she the one who owned Arkle??), I think Alan King's Midnight Appeal could be worth risking e/w back over fences. Not been seen over the bigger obstacles since falling in the Kim Muir at the festival 2012, over 18 months ago, but had previously won over 3 miles at Sandown off a mark of 127 and has a decent record fresh. Stable remain in good nick and he can be competitive here off 132.

Its just a matter of picking him, when he is due to go in and tomorrow must be running off a mark that low!! <laugh>

She did indeed own arkle! Did she own Foinavon too?

Wiki says about Foinavon:

"He was at one point in time owned by Anne Grosvenor, Duchess of Westminster, whose colours were also carried by Arkle. Both were named after Scottish mountains." Cyril Watkins owned him when he won the Grand National.

I like Malt Master- If he can stay the distance he will go well with the champ on board

Betfred goes 20-1 against Anne Duchess of Westminster presenting the prize tomorrow <laugh>

I have two selections I am going to be backing tomorrow, whilst I cannot suggest I fancy them heavily I think they will both run well and am hopeful.

Lingfield
12.30 Tee it up Tommo 3-1

This horse is very unexposed and has a very kindly mark in my opinion. The reason for backing is simply that he is unexposed, clearly in form on account of his 2nd last week to a well handicapped horse and the race has for me only three possible winners in the selection, Santadelacruz and Bloodsweatandtears. I have discounted Santa as he is in my opinion more effective over 10f and will be staying on too late whilst BST has been tried many times from a similar mark at Lingfield and never managed to get his head in front, seeming better at places such as Brighton or Epsom.

Kempton
4.50 Ubetterbegood 5-1

This horse is the class horse in the race and won it last year, add to the fact that Oisin Murphy is booked and I cannot see it losing. The fav is going up two grades in class and has completed its hat trick on turf.

Two singles and a double

Another attempt at a lucky 15 for me today:

12:30 Lingfield - Santadelacruze 7/2
1:50 Bangor - Our Mick 4/1
2:50 Bangor - Bourne 13/2
7:45 Dundalk - Toccata Blue 4/1

And an ew single on Blue Buttons in the 4:10 Exeter

Allerton in the first at Bangor. Reasonable comeback run lto and has a decent claimer taking 7lb off his back today. Fergal O'Brien tends to enjoy his trips to Bangor and I can't see why that shouldn't continue today. 9/2.
Also gonna risk a little ew on Cool George in the opener at Exeter. Up against and warm favourite but a little bit of interest at 16s and hoping this one will prove his winning bumper run here a few years back was no fluke.
Good luck all.

How Tee it up Tommo never won that race is beyond me.

Delighted to have got it in the stewards room but actually think it was the wrong decision. I think Jim Crowley was actually just unlucky and Atzeini rode a great race. Happy to have collected however as would have got nothing like 3's next time.

Good little race this next one at Bangor, could be one or two good horses in the making in there. Shame about the NR, I like Goohar for a few pennies ew.

And she owned Last Suspect.
But surely she must be dead by now?

As a dodo - I was being ironic in quoting the odds against her attendance :D

Well done Blue, the AW hot shot! Get yourself into the Saturday challenge and prove yourself on grass :D

Oddy...top shout!!!! Thats two 25/1's on the bounce if memory serves?!!!
Good call from Chan with Allerton too!!! Some good tips here today....trust me to be up to me eyes in work!!!
Keep up the good work chaps!!!

Thanks guys - that will likely be it until Christmas now <laugh>

Invictus 10 stone in the Hennessy .................. have it.
