Great ride from the front by Hayley. Read a comment somewhere after she rode the winner of the July Cup, "poor man's Cathy Gannon". What a crap remark.

<cheers> Don & Dan

Cyc have you seen tomorrow's card at Goodwood - starts with a 26 runner handicap, then a 14 runner handicap, then the Nassau Stakes, then the Stewards Cup (28 runner handicap) followed by a 16 runner handicap, a 16 runner nursery and an 18 runner handicap. Placepot should be a piece of piss <laugh>

Had a bit e/w at 16/1 on Catfish in the last at Goodwood. She's pretty speedy and might go well with her far side draw in this 5f dash.................

OddDog: <cheers> Yes, she really is a speedball. Wanted to put it in the Betting Comp. but of course the race did not qualify. Pity! Would not have caught Woolcombe, anyway, but did stick it in as a nap. Guess I'll have to Hail Mary in the Stewards Cup tomorrow, some chance! <laugh>

Have a great weekend!

Ya Boy Sir 66/1

Bit of a shot in the dark here but this horse is potentially very well treated on his form from last year. He won over C+D last June off a mark of 52 and subsequently won at Ayr off a mark of 59 in July. He hasn't shown too much since and has gone to the Ian Semple yard subsequently. Tonight he returns off a mark of 50 and if he saves all his best runs for the summer months he could definitely spring a bit of a surprise

ROTO: 4th at 50/1 SP, only a length behind the third. That was a splendid "shot in the dark" ROTO! <ok>
