Btw that was a fantastic race to watch - Harris Tweed and Jukebox Jury went down fighting - Fallon right on the line mugs them brill
Drunken Sailors win stirred a memory, so I went looking. He went amiss in Oz lat year when here for the melbourne Cup. Cumani has recently said that he was keen to try again. Harris Tweeds connections also said in the same article, that they also wanted to make the trip. On that, that both had to be hard to beat today.
Excellent ride by Fallon. Same can't be said for Hills (no surprise!). Don't think Rasmy would have placed regardless but he definitely should have been a couple of lengths closer with a good ride. Drunken Sailor used to be trained by yesterday's Galway Hurdle winning trainer Paul Flynn too!
Couldn't have backed Drunken Sailor TBH - thought it needed a longer trip (and it also did me in a Yankee last year when beaten by Free Agent at York when he should have walked it)
It was indeed fantastic - Tazahum wouldn't have won anyways but my god Hills is starting to get on my nerves weak or what
A Couple to keep an eye on tonight. Dalgliesh has a couple running at muss tonight - well worth having a few quid on singles and a small rfc on the 2 in the 8.15 & 8.45 Also, Linda Perrett normally hits form around this time - maybe a cupple of quid on hers tonight.
"Hayley Turner has been on board 2 of the last 3 starts but was chucked off for the big race at Royal Ascot so lets hope that this is the case again as opposed to her choosing Boom and Bust over Mont Agel" ****ttt
