Oddy - where is Invictus running? Been looking for ages and can't find him anywhere!

Comes to something when I'm pinning my hopes on Whinstone Boy to pull me out of a hole !
10s now from 20s earlier, I'm not sure the ground is heavy enough for this one, they'd need to empty the Mersey over Haydock to make it soft enough....

Good ride from Murphy and good performance from a horse having his first run for years!

Edit: commentators mistake - winnner has run twice this season <doh>

Gutted - didn't even get the place return for all that !
Twice I've backed horses each way this week in 8 runner affairs, one pulls out leaving just the 7 and they both finish third !
Anyone backing Ted Spread be warned - that's where my money is heading....

What hearts these old horses show... Good call to all on Tamarinbleu... <ok>

Produced so well by Murphy to win...

On a side issue i went to a hire place today to get a chainsaw for the few big branches that fell the other day in the high winds. What a right pain in the backside that was...!!! I had to fill in a questionaire about the possibilities of miss use...

What i was going to use it for...?
What would you do if you hurt yourself using it...?
What would you do if you hurt someone else...?
Who would you call if there was an accident...?

Then they gave me a dvd to watch at home to show me how to use it, and the mistakes people make in using the thing... Anyway the cost of me renting it until next tuesday put me off... £240... So im now borrowing one off a mate of mine for a few pints of beer... Apparently using a chainsaw is responsible for more accidents in the home than any other piece of equipment...

Hopefully i wont be drinking the beers whilst using the chainsaw...!!!
As shown in the dvd...!!! <laugh><laugh>

<laugh> Red: They were no doubt thinking of the Texas Chainsaw Murders? Were you wearing your 10-gallon hat? Seriously, bloody dangerous things, have to use them with great care as we all know!

Sorry, that sounded so bitter LOL, a great ride from Murphy and great effort from the horse, congrats those who backed the winner...

Red: they warn against drinking and chain-sawing for a reason!

I remember years ago trying to use a tiller in my then large back garden, after having got back from an afternoon session. I fell, but stupidly held onto the handle bars. Got dragged around the garden before final letting go, and of course the auto-cutout then stopped the thing!

Got hell from the missus for coming into the house with mud dropping off me :)
