    I'm thinking of popping to Tharavadu tonight. Its Kerala rather than straight Indian and in the Top 10 in the UK rated by TripAdvisor..

    My first "curry" experience was a Vesta dried one out of a box about 45 years ago.

    Just got back from holiday in Mauritius
    Ate Indian curry most days. Ok Mauritian, whatever (although it is in the Indian Ocean so maybe they were Indian)
    Lovely anyway, and lots of fish curry too, perfect

    Unless you saw them actually picking the herbs, spices and veg Den its not authentic sorry.

    I usually have chicken tikka masala, bhuna or jalfrezi. My dad's mate tried phall before and started sweating like an arsehole.

    I've tried the southern Indian dishes as well which I liked but my family weren't keen.
