I am willing to spend the money for the right tickets, but am not going to buy online with the promise of delivery a few days before the game, its pick up in person for me or not at all, I have seen too many people be ripped off by ticket sites like this.

Various 'neutral' entities will receive their tickets around the middle of this week and tickets may well surface.
There will also inevitably be people in the Sunderland area 'cashing in' on their tickets.
Absolute ****ing scumbags imo but it won't stop me buying tickets from them.

That's a last resort, I am hoping to sort some out this week, but I have not got my heart set on it.
cheers, been saying to my family and friends who are holding out from these sites - take your chance, hang onto a tout until 2pm, what they gonna do then? leave with a worthless ticket?

Your spot on mate, I have seen so many people be ripped off by touts. I can get concert tickets for just about any event, I know how the system works and I bet I know where the excess tickets for the final have gone.
I am hoping that through my concert connections I will be able to get some tickets but at the moment that is proving difficult for one reason or another. If I can get some I will get as many as I can and make any extras available here but at the moment I am not sure I will get any.
its a struggle mate, it seems they have all gone underground for now, my bro-in-law has got his wifes brother coming over from new zeeland and given him his ticket. driving him down and staying at a celebrity's house and still aint got one for himself, its nuts

They will be on various tout sites, certain sellers will sell via contacts in pubs and clubs etc... The problem is for every genuine ticket there will be 2 or 3 dodgy ones.
