Close, but no cigar - so can I assume, based on the mindset of the more prolific cryptic quiz-masters (Taff, Surrey, SteelM, Stroller & Terry) that the correct answer will generally be football related? I'm still waiting to make my breakthrough, but perhaps holding down a day job, I simply don't have enough time on my hands?
