She got a taxi home in the morning and I thought no more of it. Until the police and forensics turned up at my house looking for my mate who had apparently raped her. Horrible experience to go through and obviously I went through hell with my mother when she got back and realised the enormity of what was happening and what may have happened in her house.
It never went to court but he kept getting rebailed and it went on for ages, finally got chucked due to insufficient evidence. He wanted to counter charge her after that but his solicitor advised against it.
