Much of the criticism of Critchley has been about the way he speaks, which I find somewhat pathetic - childish, you might say.

He's plainly failed and it's probably right that he goes now, but the blame lies with Beale and the players he brought in who don't want to play for anyone else.
Not in my opinion. The blame lays with the board and owners for manufacturing this whole ****ing mess.

How many managers have we had under the Tony era? There seems to be a common denominator as to why none stay and succeed depending on the definition of success. We need a short term fix to make sure we stay in this league. The appointment process is about as good as player recruitment. It seriously needs to change to give any new manager the best possible chance, otherwise this merry-go-round just continues.

Be positive people he was a very poor fit
His brand of football for me from day one was a concern he hasn’t got it and thankfully the players can now reset because there is quality in the club

perfect example of a hyped up manager without the minerals mucking up a decent squad let them be natural again and the team will respark

pleased he has gone well done QPR for sacking him Get a French manager in only country that makes footballers on mass

What a ****ing mess. As bad as things were, I'm not really sure we've got this right.

Maybe we shouldn't have hired him in the first place. That would be the fault of the club senior figures.

But we've just hired a manager and sacked him within 3 ****ing months.

I question whether it's the right decision because I think the main reason for these results is a bad combination of players who care but have rock bottom confidence along with players who don't care enough. Pep Guardiola could take over and still wouldn't be able to get a response out of this lot.

If Critchley had taken over from the start of pre-season instead of Beale, I'm sure he would have had more success than he has. But he didn't come into a very good situation to start with.

The senior figures at the club must have a replacement they believe in already agreed. But the senior figures haven't exactly chosen well so far!

I sadly can only imagine us continuing to dish out awful performances, regardless of who comes in now. A relegation battle is still on the cards no matter what, imo.

I actually think we probably have less chance of staying up after sacking him. Probably would have been better to scrape through with Critchley and then change at end of season. Changing now is asking for trouble and I think this may come back to bite us.
A couple more thoughts:

Who the hell is going to want to come and manage this team? The only way we're going to be able to get someone decent is by throwing a load of money at them, which we can't afford. The way we're doing things these days is likely to make us bankrupt!

Any potential manager will a) be asking for a lot of money to step into this **** and b) will already be thinking he may have lost his job in 3 months.

What a **** show.

Sir Les has to go, imo. You can't keep making people jobless around you. It's you that needs to lose his job!

A manager with a strong personality? J Barton 33-1 (not my first choice! Though some might see a certain attraction to a bit of rough...)

Would the fans be happy with Ainsworth ?
Would the fans be happy with Barton ?
Would the fans be happy with anyone ?
Would anyone be happy to be here ?

So many questions

I'd like to know how much we've spent on managers (wages, payoffs and all) since we sacked and gave a payoff to Warburton.

For the situation we find ourselves in, obviously.

For breaking his contract and ****ing off after having brought in a bunch of spoilt child players who don't want to play for another manager.

Barton would be great.... apart from putting a few cigarettes out in our players' eyes and attacking them.

So Beale is to blame for Critchley not being able to get a tune out of the same players.

I once played under a coach as a junior at Leeds and he was completely useless. It was difficult, even as a 15 year old, to buy into his way of thinking. When you don't have confidence in what your coach/manager is trying to do then it becomes an uphill battle to get on board with his thinking.

It's a limited market and we offer very limited resources so we may end up with another limited manager

We are a bottom half of the Championship team with a bottom half budget. Realistically we will be looking at a manager at the kind of level. Anything above that would be a bonus.
