Off Topic Crime

People just like to fight around here, lots of robbing and drug issues, there was a shooting a while back between dealers but it's not too bad.

Sorry to hear this mate. I know that these type of robberies tend to be junkies looking for quick cash. I know alcohol related crimes are higher, but this is the crime I was posting about.

Like I said, I use this shop virtually every night. You kinds get to know them, without actually really knowing them. A little old Lady just doing her job.

Do women make easier targets in things like this?

I think they do make easier targets, and they would probably think twice if it was a 6ft plus bloke in his 30's. You see women working on their own in service stations too. No way would my wife be doing a job like that.

I've thought this for a while. The shop is open till 11pm and its only ever women working.

Now considering that this shop is in a half respectable area, it was a bit off a shock to find that one off the women (a 62 year old) had been stabbed 18 times at just before 11last night.

Arrested some 19 year old, non local lad (whatever that means)
