Don't know mate, but wouldn't surprise me.

It was a probation officer, thought I'd read something about it.

The notorious troublemaker and looter who boasted that he was "famous" – and asked a probation officer if she wanted his autograph – has been jailed for four years and eight months

should give him another 6 months for being such a narcissitic tosspot

He's clearly an absolute twat as well as a racist and a spiv. Mind you surprised any probation officers still existed, well in the term that I understand probation officers to be, unless it has a new meaning now. I use to think probation officers were quite helpful at getting the young back on the straight and narrow, if you could get the young offenders to listen and comprehend it's for their own future and well-being....sorry I strayed a bit there.

My belief was they were there after you got out, unless the prick was already on probation for something else.

Think Sucky will know more about this than us <whistle>

Probation officers can be seen as an alternative to prison if they think the offender is compliant. When I say as an alternative that could be in conjuction with something else, suspended, community etc. You break the terms, then you serve the time, but I'm talking decades back, don't know what the score is these days.

I should of added, offering autographs is not compliant. <laugh>

The police crackdown in Germany is absolutely insane.

Absolutely battering protesters

What's happening in Germany?

There's a big "anti-genocide" protest happening in Berlin and to say the police response has been heavy handed would be a tad of an understatement, the EU are even saying it's breaking some laws.

Essentially battering people and throwing them in van.

Which is what some of us on here were saying should be done to the rioters in England so, I dunno if we can say much.

Think people just get fed up with them smashing up places, either that or they want to drape themselves in a flag whether it be English or Palestinian and it becomes an excuse to be an absolute ****er. So yeah lob them in the van.

I'm actually completely against totalitarian methods, but we seemed to have sleep walked into them over the last three or four decades, so I've given up all hope of stopping it now, so might as well go the whole hog and just go in the batton beatings as well, most of those being battered are already brain dead anyway, so it can't do any harm.

Got my lederhosen on applauding Sky News here.

Man arrested in Pakistan over UK riot misinformation, not sure if it's the same guy, but arrested on cyber terrorism.

Being wrong is illegal now too?
We are gonna need to build more prisons

I'm merely the news messenger my friend.

Welcome to the digital age, you were all warned, Orwell gave everyone plenty of advance notice of what was to come. CCTV, facial recognition, IP tracking, but you just couldn't give up your beloved phones the biggest tracker of all.

But I've forwarded your post on to the KGB, expect a knock anytime soon, and I'm sure they will answer any questions you have. :bandit:
