Police are dumb for lying.
Unpopular opinion but if you are running away from the police because you have done something you shouldn't have its unfortunate but **** happens for speeding off dangerously

If someone nicked my car/bike or were riding 2 up illegally I would want/expect the police to chase them.
They then have a choice to make, stop and face the consequences or possibly kill themselves for a **** all minor offence or bravado in defying the law.
I don't think many will argue with that, Bobby.

The issue here is the Police caught out lying, again. These are the guys people put their trust in to do the right thing and to always act honest and professional. Everybody should be confident with the police that they can be trusted.
It's getting harder for the average person to believe anything that the Police tell us now. People have little faith in them and ultimately that can only lead to a more lawless and unsteady society.

I can remember when they issued British cops with tasers, my first thought was that will make it a go to weapon - by that I mean they will forget it was a weapon they never use to have, and forget to use their social skills. Which is exactly what the Aussie cops have done and failed to do. It has to be a manslaughter charge now, and hopefully training will remind officers of the consequences of misusing a taser.
She was probably already fried from the first taser at her age lol.
