It was. And there had been mass migrations of western Jews moving back to the area in anticipation of the new land being granted for decades before then too. The displacement began before official statehood began and back then it was Jewish terrorist groups instead of Arab terrorist groups setting off bombs to try and get their way and killing innocent people.
No doubt the west, primarily Britain and US responsible for the ****ed up middle East today. Although, I dare say if Israel was never created there would be Jewish terrorist groups still around blowing up buildings in the middle east to try and gain their statehood.
I believe all people and all religions just basically want peace and to be left alone. Having too much power over another can corrupt that basic state.
Terrorism is the result of feeling repressed and treated unfairly. It's not the "correct" response, but it's what humanity resorts to when they feel they're being repressed and not able to have their own say over who rules them. I don't think one people or one religion is more predisposed to violence than another.

America needs to encourage more citizens to buy guns to prevent Mexican immigrants framing them for drug crimes.
Whatever the reasons it's just fake to claim you're fighting oppression there when you've allowed/supported a far bigger example of it over the past 56+ years against the Palestinians. But like you say, it's all a sham.
I agree with a lot of that but I don't think the last bit is about how the Palestinians look. That image of them has been manufactured much like it has for the Ukranians. One as negative and the other as positive. And that's more to do with where your vested interests lie. The difference being Ukraine just happens to be located favourably in an area where certain powers want greater geopolitical control. The Palestinians have to be demonised as it's the only way to justify their oppression because Israel has significant political influence in the U.S.... and well, calling Israelis fascists is not the done thing bcos jewish ppl were oppressed three generations ago.

A search of the Arade dam will begin on Tuesday, 50km from where the toddler went missing in Praia da Luz in 2007.
The search was requested by German police as the area was visited by the official suspect in her disappearance.
Christian Brueckner, 45, was made a formal suspect, or an "arguido", by Portuguese prosecutors in 2022.
An area over a mile long was sealed off just after midday on Monday, SIC reported.
German police would not officially confirm the search, but indicated the reports were correct and are expected to release a statement on Tuesday.

Yeah just seen that news, they claimed all day they turned up to the scene after the accident, there was no chase, certainly got some explaining to do. Feel sorry for the innocent people though whose stuff got smashed up.
