I remember that. The estate agent and Mr Kipper.

I think that was different, if we're talking about a park and river, it's unlikely they'd take her away. Would've done what he had to and dumped her there. Which is why I don't believe anyone else is involved.

I think by this time next year she'll be turning up in the costa del sol with the press and polis on her tail.... either that or Bognor.

I don't know if you saw my comments the other day, there is a holiday park only a stone throw (ok a bit more) from that location, from the other side of gate. No suggestion about the park on my part, the only thing it highlighted to me was it is not as secluded and unknown as it first appeared.

What do I mean by that...

When that female cop got battered to death in a remote village in Kent (while walking her dog), everything pointed that it had to be a local person ie someone that lived in the same village, due to no one else outside the village, would know that location - the problem I feel that they've got here is the same cannot be said.

I saw the comment about the holiday park but didn't realise what you meant until now. I thought you meant it was a busy area, but I get what you mean now. Anyone visiting from anywhere could be involved. It could also be someone who visits there regularly so knows the area.

But then, why did the police rule out foul play so quickly? I'm guessing it's bcos there's no forensic evidence to suggest otherwise?

My first thought when you asked me that question as with my first thoughts of why it wasn't marked off as a crime scene (even though one wasn't proven) is because the police are dickheads lol

Unless that poor girl actually turns up in a waterway somewhere, a couple of years from now, everyone will continue to ask the police why didn't you?... in my head you cover all options and that was failed in the golden hours - people have been allowed to traipse all over that place.

Any evidence is long gone if there was ever any.

That is exactly why I posted about this to begin with. I just find it strange they immediately focused on her falling in the river and ruled everything else out. And the camera man literally turned to the river bank and the water was still, no current and shallow, and they're talking about getting the divers in. So you respect the fact they know more and give them the benefit of the doubt, but then 9/10 days later they call it off admitting she's not there <doh>

You are right what you alluded to in your previous comment, the police must have some concrete evidence why they think she went in the water, so maybe I'm being harsh on them, but that's just my own logic kicking in - they will defo have stuff they've not revealed.

Naturally we have to trust them and that everything they've done is based on a good foundation of evidence. I'm a cynical bugger and trust no one, so until they find her like others we will question.

I know they say it's only a 10 minute window, but that's still a long window, you've only got to turn your back on your own young children and in two minutes they can be gone, well times that by five, and unless you are moving in the right direction, that 10 minutes multiplies and eventually becomes irrelevant.

Tbh mate I was saying they probably fcked it up <laugh>

I mean that's 10 days they've directed to line of inquiry and they were very quick to say so - day one in fact. And now the husband's virtually calling them out on it. I think he's frustrated that they won't explore other options. But then, if they did fck it up would they be willing to admit it now? So do they double down on their initial assumptions. Fck knows tbh, but I completely understand where the husband's coming from here. That rant about searching every home was just him completely fcked off with the police imo and feeling like he's not being listened to.

Yup, he's like you, me and everyone else, wtf you doing, how many more times do you need to search a river! I heard in the early days bodies can take a couple of years to turn up once they get washed out to sea. From what I gather from that private guy that carries out his own business searching for missing people on waterways, he didn't seem to believe she would get very far down that waterway, well that's how I interpretated what he said, when he talked about bodies dragging and snagging on the bottom of the waterway, and also that water ledge (don't know it's correct term) it had to get over.

Lancashire police made a statement this morning to quash speculation over Nicola Bulley. Lancashire police have now made another statement quashing speculation from this mornings statement which was to quash the previous speculation. Do Lancashire police actually know what they are doing! It appears to me they are getting all defensive about the speculation but rather than improve the situation have made it worse, so much so they've had to now reveal her particular vulnerabilities, what an absolute shambles.

In my own traumatic experience of their failures [HASHTAG]#LancashirePolice[/HASHTAG] are absolutely useless. But I could never have anticipated how disgusted I would be that they now try to excuse their own failings by labelling [HASHTAG]#NicolaBulley[/HASHTAG] as a menopausal alcoholic. What a hard faced ….

I watched that this morning

We need to triple the size of our army so they can replace the miserable woke halfwits pretending to be law keepers

When I was a young child the police and teachers all seemed to be ex servicemen and had our respect

Tell yer mate, that copper was an absolute disgrace on the TV this morning, talk about a hard face cow, no wonder the public are up in arms over it. Deflection all over the shop, pointing at and blaming tickors, while later in the day they have to put out another statement because of the shambles of the first statement. After what we've seen with the shocking state of the Met Police lately and now this from Lancashire police, some of them need tossing in the bin. Maybe the cops need to know how to engage better with social media before chucking accusations all over the shop and constantly trying to silence people. I'm not saying there aint some fruitcakes out there, because there is, but the way they have handled this is nothing but shocking.

Your describing their best attributes, when it actually comes to law enforcement they are a bunch of wimps

They make cups of tea etc for people gluing themselves to the road and arrest the people they are preventing from going to work
