NINE ****ING YEARS?
For raping 3 women and killing an unborn child?
Good to see judges taking rape and and the murder of an unborn baby seriously.
I aint in favour of the death penalty but ****ing hell, that sentence is like 2 years and 3 months for the killing of the unborn baby and each rape.
The rapist **** could be out in 4 and a half years ffs.
Either the judge, the law or both are ****s.
Genuinely shocked...especially as on the same day (today) a guy in Bristol was given a life sentence with a minimum 12 years to be served for 2 random attempted murders by stabbing.
I agree with this sentence but it makes the rapist one look even more ****ing outrageous.

There is no justice for some, the sentences like in this case, make me so ****ing angry, then they wonder why folk take the law into their own hands. Murder and rape carry the same 20 year minimum sentence for me, raping someone, you've as good as ended their life anyway.
I was listening to a woman on the radio talking about how her daughter was raped and murdered. I'm not familiar with the case but others may be. She said when it went to court, the prosecution didn't bother with the rape charge because the murder would get him the maximum sentence anyway. The family were never consulted. So the bloke gets found guilty of murder. No rape conviction. If/when he comes out he won't even be on the sex offenders register.
She tried to get the bloke tried for rape as well with no success. In the end she took it to the Director of Public Prosecutions, a certain Kier Starmer. They changed the policy on rape cases linked to murder to both being tried in future.
Unfortunately though the sentencing is still up to the maximum of one instead of both.

Newcastle United co-owner Amanda Staveley has said in High Court documents that she borrowed £30.5m to help fund her 10% stake in the club.
Staveley's PCP Capital Partners firm led a Saudi Arabian backed takeover of Newcastle for £305m in October.
But in court documents seen by the BBC, she admitted claims made by former owner Mike Ashley that she borrowed the money from fellow co-owners the Reuben brothers, who also own 10% of the club.

Judges don't always give the longest sentence possible as most sentences have a range of punishments as far as I am aware.
