The BBC report on it mentions that it was the first one he'd ever had. What the **** was in that?! There's no mention anywhere of previous mental health issues, which I find strange. One brownie and he's flying into dissociative, murderous rages and making sure he kills someone?
Didnt read it bro, i saw cannabis brownies and murder and cba with that propoganda bs so rolled a joint instead
I've browsed around trying to find out what the **** went on and I'm none the wiser. He freaked out, she laughed at him, so he lost it and killed her. Strangled her, beat her up, stabbed her 30 times, then ran over the body in his car. Claimed that he thought he was dead and to return to life he had to kill her. That does not sound like cannabis. They dropped the murder charge because the prosecution felt it wasn't warranted. Three psychiatrists examined him and found that he was utterly divorced from reality. His girlfriend recorded her own death and they used it as part of the examination. Grim.
The judge, actually: "I am quite sure that the psychotic state which Jake Notman was in was at least in part a response to the cannabis which he had taken," the judge added.
Good job he ate weed instead of drank alcohol. If you murder someone while drunk it's still murder. Apparently murdering someone while high on any other substance isn't murder though. Reasons to do pot instead of alcohol, you are not responsible for your actions when high apparently.
