A spokesperson from train operator c2c said it was aware that a large number of people involved had used c2c trains to travel to and from Southend.

The Police are literally there in the picture you posted <laugh>

I dunno how that operation was policed, but clearly there were some yoot there out to try and get knifey with each other.

Yeah, so why didn't they stop the mayhem, in the same way they would have with football fans?

I think there was even a dispersal order from previous nights trouble for them not to be there, so they should have shepherd them back to where they came from.

I haven't really followed the story. Was it an organised party or something cobbled together on tiktok ?

If it was organised, then like football clubs, the organisers would have to pay for Policing and get local council clearance etc to manage the event safely. There will be a policing plan in place and specific routes mapped out to shepherd fans in the direction Police want them to go.

Otherwise yeah, if there was a dispersal order in place, the Old Bill should have just been putting them back on trains and sending them back home.

Strangely Bobby, Shamima Begum is regarded by the British Government as a terrorist, loads of kids with knives wanting to cut chunks out of one another or anyone that gets in their way is not, weird I know.
 
The only thing i will say is, at least these youths are keeping it amongst themselves, i would hate to think what would happen if anyone disrespected them.

Pinkie would probably tell them to calm down and then tell his mates to give them a hug, they are just misunderstood whilst on his bike

In all seriousness i agree with the lack of youth centres and workers etc and rehab.

These ones though who are older are too far gone. Better to eject them before they do more harm.

Anyway, I've already said how I'd deal with the immediate problem of knife crime, and the longer term issues to try and reduce it.

brb is always going on about give me the solution, not the problem, but he want to kettle them all to Cornwall ffs <laugh>

And Bobz wants to send them to the Gobi desert.

Neither of you are making it into my cabinet when I'm PM lol
