Momentum has swung to England. Brilliant partnership by Buttler and Woakes. If they can keep this going, we may be in for a famous (and improbable) victory.

Love hoe the P keeper appeals. Jumps up and down both feet off the ground, screaming like a banshee, one hand up in the air, the other grabbing his bollocks!

always nice to tempt fate with a bit of reverse spin psychology. cracking stand to take thegame.

Well, what a great game, pity someone had to lose. Though having said that I'm glad we didn't! Buttler bought himself another game too.

Well done Woakes and England. Great win for us but Pakistan are a class side and will come again in the rest of the series. We still look frail in the top order against fast bowling and leg spin.

A terrific win despite bewildering tactics employed at times .. Woakes clear m.o.m but nice to see Butler contribute big style. Shaping up to be a good series tbf but I still worry about our top order

Stokes is missing the rest of the series due to family reasons, so as great as yesterday was, there's no point carrying on...

Just caught up with the highlights of the last day, brilliant win by England, the saying wrestled a win from the jaws of defeat more or less sums it up. A great Test match to watch, Pakistan looked the better-balanced side, with mistakes on many fronts probably made it more exciting. Some poor captaincy on both sides and Buttler's wicket keeping needs to improve.

However, hats of to Buttler for putting in a wonderful performance with the bat after his traumas behind the stumps, as well as Woakes, clearly MOTM, who was excellent with both bat and ball.
