What do we think of the start?

To my uneducated mind we’ve started well and they don’t seem close to letting rip with boundaries?

Reasonably happy?

It's happy from me. NZ have had all the luck up to now. They could have been four wickets down for under 70 by now on another day. England keeping the boundaries down so unless a Kiwi or two have a stormer, perhaps 275, less would be better.
England should be well capable of knocking those off providing we don't trip ourselves up like we always manage to do when its football at this stage.
Its England for me.

Neither batsman looks comfortable, down to the good bowling. NZ need to open up the bat soon or they’ll not reach a reasonable run rate. So far, from what I’ve seen, the bowlers are playing their part ... but it’s a long day.
