All I can think is that as they haven't quite qualified for semis yet, it could be he realised that losing by 30 runs rather than 60 protects their overall run rate? It is odd that Koli never confirmed that though. I do remember him doing this before though, I think he was actually captain and again for no apparent reason.

Gosh, that was tense until the last over, I stayed up to listen to it, and was well worth doing that. What a difference Jason Roy makes to the squad confidence-wise, Bairstow looks a different player when he partners him.

Yeah I was been slightly sarcastic but a lot of cricket fans do forget how complicated the game actually is
