Ireland v UAE is a very good game from the highlights. Those flashing bails came into their own with the bowled but not out incident.

Fantastic finish to last night's game with New Zealand scraping home after looking in total charge. Great to see Mitchell Starc bowling with 3 slips and two gulleys in a limited overs game.

New Zealand look good. There are three or four teams who could win it. I think it will come down to one if the star batsman producing a stunning knock. Perhaps de Villiers v McCullum in the final.

Morning. I have made the tactical decision just to enjoy the cricket and not have any allegiance to a particular team at this World Cup.

The sooner this horse is taken to the knacker's yard the better, we'll all feel much better.

Agree stroller but have left Taylor at 3, should have changed the attack & brought tredwell & bopara in, shambles, if they don't be the other minows it will be a disaster.

I can't fathom out the England selector's game-plan, they crawl through the first 30 overs trying not to lose wickets instead of hammering the attack from the first ball, it's negative, out-of-date and being shown up as ineffective yet they continue with the same witless rubbish.

By comparison Australia, NZ, SA etc all have destructive batsmen at the top of the order that can hit 10-12 an over at will, if Bangladesh are on their game we could be out of it and the weather might even scupper us which would be so ironic...

Maybe for a few days. Knowing Ireland they'll get squashed by Wales and destroyed in their next Cricket match. That's why we've got to celebrate these fleeting moments when they come around!

Speaking of which, Harrington won his first tournament in 8 years the other day. Gosh he went to sh*t very fast didn't he?

Just watching the Aussies flaying Sri Lanka, Glen Maxwell just out after hitting a 51-ball century. Hard to see anyone stopping the Aussies in this type of form...

136-5 now.

Sat here on my sick couch (man flu!!) and England look as if they are going out of the WC with a whimper!!

This last pair of Root and Butler is vital!
