Him and Stokes. There is clearly no authority from either of them when the players go out drinking to such an extent. It's a disgrace and both heads have to roll when this shameless episode in the history of English cricket is mercifully concluded.

Very well paid professional sportsman whose form has hit the floor, in a team getting absolutely tanked,spends his time off getting pissed, recorded and videoed! He’s definately in bother! Perhaps it’ll dawn into his pea-sized brain when he hears the reception he’s going to get from 100k Aussies when he walks out to bat in Melbourne!
So. Having a bad time at work. Goes out on the lash during time off? Have you never done that? Sportsman or not, he has every right to do that for me. Maybe he needed it.
I wonder how we’d all feel if the pleb with the camera hadn’t been there? Or what we’d all think if some of the stuff we’ve all done/said when smashed was on video?
Maybe he needed it for him. Personally? He might be suffering with personal stuff.
Mate we’ve almost all done stupid things and said stupid things after too much drink. I wish people would just forget these people are sportsmen for a moment and think of them as human beings. He’s had a drink. He’s said stuff he wouldn’t have sober. That’s all. Non-story for me
