Duckett getting praised for a quick 34 at the start of the run chase. After the last few days that's shows great character and skill.

I've seen some figures. Seems they are not insured for loss of revenue.
Seen an interview with Michael Vaughan after the match and he was on about all the lost revenue and money that broadcasters will have to hand back to advertisers and sponsors. Also seen an article about the Australian cricket board looking for investors for their Big Bash T20 tournament teams. Possibly going down the route that the Hundred has gone down with some IPL investors coming in.
Trying to prepare the pitch to give Australia a big advantage has completely backfired.

Disgraceful pitch to be honest. You expect a new ball, with the skill of Starc, to nibble a bit, but it was ridiculous! Nothing but right that they’re after an inquest. 5 day tests are fairly uncommon now with us, but a fifth day is or ally “pay on the gate”. Losing almost 200000 people over days 3 & 4, at probably average of au$100 a head! Massive impact!
