Aye, should have left that one alone outside the off stumpComical defending from Southampton
I shall venture over to the correct thread.Aye, should have left that one alone outside the off stump

To be honest I thought 150 was a decent total to play against. Australia didn’t bowl badly it’s just India were better. When Australia came in to bat the first over seemed as if they were going to go for it. Then they didn’t. When Smith came in the first thing Mrs K said was that he’ll be awesome or terrible. You can never tell with him. We got the terrible version
Carey seemed to do ok but honestly he was the only one to play to the standard they all can. Labuschagne seemed rooted to the crease.
It also didn’t help that we had three drunken idiots behind us who thought their chant of “Kohli is a ****er” every ten minutes was the funniest thing ever.
On the plus side it was a day off work. Looking forward to The Ashes in November next year. Told Mrs K that we’ll have to wear the red n white stripes for that one. And of course I’ll be supporting England!!
I live in Perth so it will be the tests here. We are also Perth Scorchers members so whatever games we can get to at Optus Stadium. In fairness it’s Mrs K you need to be speaking to. She’s the one really into the cricket so I just go along with what she tells me I’m going to!!Which test are you heading to? I'm seriously thinking of coming over for the last test and hopefully at least 1 T20 for the missus around Sydney as I have relatives that way
Well that's decided it for me, I'll be cheering on the Scorchers in the Big Bash. Durhams Ashton Turner skippering the side as well. Haway the Scorchers, as Bumble would say....start the ute!I live in Perth so it will be the tests here. We are also Perth Scorchers members so whatever games we can get to at Optus Stadium. I sometimes wear a SAFC top to the games and we have front row seats on the bottom tier. As in permanently or for a holiday? Not a bad thing though - I'm trying to talk the missus into head out over there. Think she fancies it, thinking it might be the whole cost that could be putting her off

Will keep an eye out mate.I sometimes wear a SAFC top to the games and we have front row seats on the bottom tier. Mrs K and me have been seen on the telly once or twice.
Well if you decide to stay in Perth for a few days let me know. I’m sure we can all meet up for a beer or twoJust a holiday for about a month. Stop overs on the way there and back for a couple of days. There's also the fact that we've been TUPE'd over and my holidays did run from April to March which meant I could've held some back till after Xmas, now its January to December which means I'm taking the bulk of them in the first month!

I know I’m sidetracking slightly but whereabouts are your relatives? My son is in the RAN and based in Nowra and lives in Gerringong. Anywhere near your family?Cheers mate. If the last test was at Perth I would've took you up on this but as I have said my relatives are based a few hours from Sydney and at Canberra so if it does happen we'll be on the other side of the country. Thanks for the offer though and I'll keep an eye out for you on tv![]()

Got family in Perth and Sydney, plus friends in Melbourne and Brisbane. Hoping to get out to Melbourne for the 2029/30 Ashes. This one came round too soon for me to plant the seed with the missus. My sister has just got back from Oz and is already planning her next trip.
Actually Warilla is not too far from my son in Gerringong. He sometimes goes up to Shellharbour with his girlfriend for an afternoon. One of my cousins and her family are based in Warilla, my other 2 cousins moved up to Canberra not too long ago and they have family based around Newcastle and by the Blue Mountains
Lived out here for 17 years now. Still love living in Perth. It helped that I left home when I was 17 and never returned so never really set down any firm roots anywhere.Got family in Perth and Sydney, plus friends in Melbourne and Brisbane.
