First we actually hire a coach. We don't currently have one who knows anything about this level of cricket.

The only thing of note Matthew Mott has ever done is to manage the Aussie women's cricket team, which is about as demanding as managing Celtic in the SPL when Rangers aren't in it.

Then you look forward not backwards. There are a number of players in this squad who are only in it because they were in the one that won in 2019.

Then, if we are interested in 50 over cricket here, play some seriously, instead of having the best players playing hit and giggle 16.4 over cricket for make believe teams.

I certainly hope they don't get one. Sri Lanka usually beat England at World Cups anyway, sometimes batter them. A very, very heavy , and well deserved thrashing incoming.
