It's not out. He's dropped it as part of the whole "catching and movement of body" law that got Starc. I don't think it was a celebration, just the natural movement of the arms back to starting position. That is the series right there sadly

Well that's what they have said on telly, but they would ever go against whatvumpures say really . But mo doubt he was going to throw the ball up. It is highly subjective, sometimes a slip especially will throw the ball behind himself when still on the move, and it's out. Maybe that will change.

But series done anyway. Far too many dropped catches at Edgbaston and Lords. Since then England have been the better side, but you can't let a good side off the hook so often and not pay the price.

The thing is with the catch, is he has held onto longer than those that catch at slip and immediately throw it into the air. But I think he knew he blew it himself
Yep he did. But it's a fine line, and we'll see a change in that sort of thing now.

Irrelevant anyway with this rain!

Whilst I agree and completely see the point, the Smith catch on Root completely rankles with me! If the Smith one is out, then so is that. He is in far more control of the ball than smith ever was, as was Starc!

(this is he saying the smith one is not out by the way, not that this is)
Agree re Smith. The ball is touching the grass. It was 100% not out

If they get 50 overs in Australia should coast this. Spinners both leaka lot of runs and only three seamers effectively Less than three an over.

Massive not getting Smith out before lunch.

You need to be a bit more hopeful mate. We haven't won yet I know but cricket is all about momentum. It changes quick.
