If that was Anderson to Latham you say well done. It was very good bowling much like his first innings. We are classic as fans at ignoring how good a bowler the opposition are. Boult is superbCrawley
Ok, fair point but it's almost every innings with Crawley. Take away his 2 hundreds and he's averaging 18.88
I know averages don't work like that and every opener can nick off to a good ball but he could and should have left that ball. His shot selection leaves a lot to be desired - it's no coincidence that he has had 22 innings of 10 or less in his 42 completed attempts
31 of his 42 innings are below his current test average of 27.21
Agreed Boult is good notwithstanding that if Crawley is going to be an England opening bat he has to learn (quickly) to cope with a fast lefthanded bowler firing a ball across him. Ie move his feet in line and tuck his bat in.
Possibly. But the angle of the ball from Boult puts a little doubt in a batsman’s mind.
