They haven't learnt anything from the first test. You're nearly 200 runs behind and they try to take them on every ball. I'm all for exciting cricket but there's times when you need to hanker down and make sure you don't lose a match

The pattern seems to be well set now, and not just in this series.

It is a team in the making, and just cannot play well enough for long enough. The long discipline of a test match is not really embedded in the side.

Too many runs left out there in the first innings in this test and too many catches dropped . This puts appalling scoreboard pressure on the second innings.

Some players at least are wildly under par. Brook, Atkinson, Smith Pope do not look anywhere close to their average levels.

The whole team is totally unprepared to play an Ashes series. WTF was the field placings when we were bowling to their tail enders...everyone on the boundary! Whatever happened to 5 men round the bat in close catching positions? Stokes needs his head shaken.
